270° plug is best for following cameras where cover of the connector section blocks 90° plugs: A6300, A6500, HX400.

90° plug is best for following cameras where cover of the connector section blocks 270° plugs: A5000, A5100, A6000, A6100, A6400, A6600.

Other Sony camera models works both with 90° or 270° angle plugs.
